個展#20『窓 -Layered Journey- 喫茶店に旅の窓を開ける』

札幌の観光名所の一つでもある二条市場北向かいにある喫茶店の壁で、ウリュウの作品シリーズ『窓 -Layered Journey-』を一ヶ月にわたり展示させていただいた。
この展示は、長年にわたりウリュウの作品をお取り扱いいただいている札幌のギャラリーショップ「hanaagra」さんからのお声かけで実現した。2015から制作を続けているシリーズ『窓 -Layered Journey-』の中から、未公開作や、同年春の札幌芸術の森美術館での企画展『札幌美術展旅は目的地につくまでがおもしろい。』出展作のアナザーカットなどを展示。また、カウンター上にデジタルフォトフレームを置き、芸術の森で投影していたスライドショーの写真もご覧いただいた。
寿珈琲さんは自家で豆を焙煎し、札幌市内や近郊のお店にも豆を卸しているお店。小さく細長い店内は、一人でも、誰かとでもくつろいでいただける空間になっている。この細長い空間が、列車のようにも感じられて、『窓』を開けてみた。

Solo Exhibition vol.20 [“Window -Layered Journey- / Open the window in the cafe”]
On a wall of a coffee shop in front of “Nijo Ichiba”, one of the tourist attractions in Sapporo, a series of URYU’s work “Window -Layered Journey-” was exhibited for a month.
This exhibition was realized by a offer from a gallery shop “hanaagra” in Sapporo, which has been supporting URYU’s works for many years.
From the series “Window -Layered Journey-“, which has been in production since 2015, the unreleased works and the exhibition “Sapporo Art Exhibition : On the way to Journey” at Sapporo Art Museum in the spring of this year, Another cut of the exhibited work is exhibited. In addition, a digital photo frame was placed on the counter, and the slide show photos projected in there exhibition were also viewed.
“Kotobuki Coffee” have roasts beans at home and wholesales beans to shops in and around Sapporo. The small and elongated store is a space where you can relax alone or with someone. This elongated space felt like a train, so I opened the window.
